Job Overview

An established food manufacturer in the Yate area is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for tasks related to sales order processing, stock management, and credit control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales order processing and receipting of purchase orders
  • Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability for production
  • Stock recording of daily goods in and out, and preparation of paperwork for the production department
  • Liaising with customers on orders and deliveries, and using customer and online portals for managing orders
  • Organising and dispatching samples for customers, and arranging courier collections
  • Processing customer invoices and sending statements
  • Maintaining up-to-date customer records on Sage and keeping on top of credit accounts
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Experience of Sage is desirable, but not essential
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office and email, with ability to prioritise and organise own workload
Benefits
  • Salary £28,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 - 37.5 hours per week
