Company Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support a first-of-its-kind training scheme in North West. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping overseas qualified dentists obtain their NHS performer numbers.

About the Role
  • You will work 2 days a week from our Training Practice near Preston, with flexibility to choose your working days.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to up to 3 overseas qualified dentists in a general dental practice environment.
  • Liaise with our clinical team regarding the progress and abilities of the dentists.
  • Attend any necessary training or meetings as deemed appropriate by our company.
  • Evaluate and grade the treatment provided and professionalism of the dentists for meeting their clinical requirements.
  • Maintain skills, competencies, and required continued professional development for general practice and supporting dentists.
  • Offer pastoral support to the dental students while in the practice and report any issues arising.

Responsibilities
  1. Support overseas qualified dentists in obtaining their NHS performer numbers.
  2. Work closely with our clinical team to ensure the success of the training scheme.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with dentists and other stakeholders.
  4. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all participants.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in pediatric mental health services.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 based on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including:
