Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment operations. As a Water Treatment Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our ICA plant, working closely with our wastewater teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our capital schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement planned maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of ICA plant.
  • Collaborate with wastewater teams to deliver expert ICA support and guidance for wastewater treatment works and associated assets.
  • Develop and implement effective control strategies for unmanned plant using PLCs, telemetry, and SCADA systems.
  • Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of Capital Schemes to enhance ICA, process optimisation, and environmental discharge monitoring and control.
  • Install, commission, and maintain all instrumentation and communication links to wastewater assets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification in ICA related discipline.
  • Relevant time-served apprenticeship in electronics, instrumentation, or electrical field.
  • Strong background in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
