Workshop Controller

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage a busy workshop
- Provide technical support to technicians
- Carry out quality control checks on technicians
- Liase with service counter to ensure customer vehicles are completed on time and any delays adressed quickly and solutions provided
- Liase with parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered and in stock prior to customer appointments.
- Provide technical insights and recommendations to customers when required

**Requirements**:

- IMI or city and guilds level 3
- Previously a master technician is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Controller or vehicle Technician
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Please note that this job may require occasional heavy lifting, as well as experience or familiarity with wiring diagrams, understanding manufacturers repair procedures, technician work and customer service in person and over the phone.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Quarterly bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Llanelli: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Motor trade mechanical: 7 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- MOT licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
