Laboratory Science Professional

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our scientific research team at RSD Technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory functions, including routine testing of process samples, ensuring products meet product specifications.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-established team dedicated to delivering accurate and reliable results.
Key Responsibilities:- Routine Testing: Conduct thorough analysis to ensure process samples meet product specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain analytical quality assurance and process control in line with laboratory procedures and customer expectations.
- Equipment Calibration: Calibrate laboratory equipment according to schedule, perform daily maintenance, and ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Collaboration: Liaise with Process Lead Operators to optimize operating conditions.
- IT Administration: Utilize software such as Excel, SAP, and LIMS for administrative tasks.
- Air Testing Equipment: Calibrate, issue, and use confined space entry air testing equipment for work permit preparation.
- Analysis: Analyze boiler, utility, and effluent data for internal and external EHS control measures.
- HNC in Chemistry or equivalent qualification in Chemistry.
- Experience in a similar role within an industrial laboratory environment.
- Beneficial Experience: GC (Gas Chromatography), IC (Ion Chromatography), HPLC (High Pressure Chromatography), Automated Titration Units.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new processes, and adaptability.
- Shift Work: Ability to work in a shift-based environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work solo and as part of a team.
Salary: The salary range is estimated at £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
