Communication Disorders Clinician

Job Summary:
">We are seeking an experienced Communication Disorders Clinician to join our team as a highly specialist speech and language therapist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will involve working with adults who have complex communication and swallowing disorders.
">Main Duties:
- Provide expert assessment and treatment services for adults with complex communication and swallowing disorders
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct videofluoroscopy assessments and provide independent FEEs practitioner services
- Develop and maintain expertise in evidence-based practices and national guidelines
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
- Demonstrated expertise in videofluoroscopy assessments and FEEs practice
- Strong understanding of national policies and guidelines relevant to stroke rehabilitation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
