Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker

Location: Prospero Teaching's Partner School

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Worker to join our team, working with individuals who present high levels of complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions and mental health problems.

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering person centred support to our students, using de-escalation techniques and building positive relationships to create a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver person centred support to individuals with complex needs
* Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviours
* Build positive relationships with students to create a safe and inclusive environment
* Collaborate with the team to develop and implement support plans

Requirements:

* Experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour
* De-escalation training an advantage
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
