Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a Behavioural Support Worker to join their team in Nantwich, supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities and mental health problems.

This is a full-time role working 8:30am to 3:30pm daily.

  • Avoidance of difficult situations through effective communication and de-escalation techniques
  • Skill in making decisions that prioritise the safety and well-being of others
  • Strong relationships built through empathetic understanding and excellent interpersonal skills

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour. They should be confident in their ability to make decisions and possess excellent communication skills.

  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate is essential for this position
  • Two professional child-related references are required
