Job Description

Job Title: Administrator Homeworking

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team at Howden. As an Administrator, you will provide support to our Security & Counterparty team, ensuring the effective and compliant onboarding of clients, insurers, and other counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Security & Counterparty team, including the creation, maintenance, and integrity of broking system account records.
  • Ensure that responsibilities and agreed objectives are completed in accordance with relevant Company and/or Group policies.
  • Act as a point of liaison between Business Units and other members of the team, referring more sophisticated queries where necessary.
  • Manage assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required.
  • Provide relevant management information to senior management.
  • Develop technical expertise in relation to Insurer Terms of Business Agreements and provide mentorship to Business Units.
  • Respond appropriately to urgent issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience of operating in the compliance department/Security & Counterparty department of a public company in the UK regulatory environment (full training will be given).
  • Utilization of Microsoft Office products.
