About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations and Planning Lead to join our team at Aperture. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Operations: Develop and implement systems and processes to optimize business efficiency, project status, and workflow management.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and spend tracking, providing insights on monthly revenue projections and expenses.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company is operating securely and in compliance with legal standards, coordinating with legal counsel on contractual matters and implementing security procedures.
  • Team Development and Management: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and high performance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks related to legal, accounting, holiday tracking, and ensuring tight operations.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Project Management and Productivity Tools: Experience with project management and productivity tools.
  • Financial Principles: Solid understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Ability to thrive in a coaching role and support the development of team members with patience and guidance.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with an "all hands on deck" approach, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to do whatever the business needs at the time.
