We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented University Secretariat Support Officer to join our Directorate of Governance and Assurance.

In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Assistant Director (Governance) and the Head of Secretariat, ensuring the smooth operation of the University's corporate and academic governance committees.

Key duties include:

  • Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of committee events and activities.
  • Assisting with the review and development of the University's governing documents.

As a University Secretariat Support Officer, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £32,500 per annum, plus a range of benefits including 43 days annual leave, access to our on-site theatre/cinema, sports facilities, library, on-site nursery, and great staff discounts.
