**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst and Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the University of Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing a database, assisting with data analysis, and providing administrative support on a project investigating resistance to external powers in the developing world.

  • **Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a database to support the project
  • Assist with data analysis, interpretation, and visualization in a reproducible way
  • Provide administrative support, including coordination of events and activities

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a social science discipline
  • Experience in database construction and use of Excel or other data management tools
  • Reading proficiency in Chinese (in addition to English)

**Salary:** Estimated £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
