About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at Quorn Hall School. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and guidance to families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for families in need of support, managing and implementing support plans to ensure the well-being of children and families.
  • Identify and address the needs of children and families who require additional support, helping to reduce school absence levels for vulnerable pupils.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with adults and children, providing a safe and supportive environment for all.
  • Collaborate with the school's therapy team to provide a holistic approach to supporting children's emotional and mental health needs.
Requirements
  • GCSE in English and Maths (A*-C) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable: BA Degree in Health and Social Care or Youth Work, experience attending Social Care meetings
