About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Support Worker to join our successful team at Quorn Hall School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting and developing the skills of our students and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for families in need of support, managing and implementing support plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Identify and address the needs of children and families who require additional support, helping to reduce school absence levels for vulnerable pupils.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with adults and children, providing a safe and supportive environment for our students to thrive.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective support plans, ensuring the needs of our students and their families are met.
Requirements
  • GCSE in English and Maths (A*-C) or equivalent
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with adults and children
  • Good understanding of the challenges faced by the families you will support
  • Experience attending Social Care meetings (desirable)
  • BA Degree in Health and Social Care or Youth Work (desirable)
