Care Assistant Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Orchid House in Thirsk. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of customers and contribute to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration
  • Perform light domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, and assist with shopping
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK
  • Previous care experience essential, with a focus on using an overhead tracking hoist
  • Good communication skills, empathy, and a caring nature
