Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team at Orchid House in Thirsk. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers with their daily needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care, administer medication, and perform light domestic duties
- Prepare meals and snacks, shop for groceries, and offer companionship
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- A minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK
- Previous care experience essential, with a focus on using an overhead tracking hoist
- Good communication skills, empathy, and a caring nature
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour
