Job Title: Group Accounting Lead

Agility Resourcing is seeking an experienced Group Accounting Lead to join our team.

About the Role:

The Group Accounting Lead will play a crucial role in supporting the senior management team by providing accurate and timely financial information. The successful candidate will have a strong technical skillset and experience in financial management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale financial projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare group management accounts, including insightful commentary for key stakeholders.
  • Manage the company's month-end process.
  • Oversee the control and maintenance of the group reporting package used for management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support the group finance team with external audit, tax computations, and HMRC filings.
  • Ensure that any commercial bids are supported by robust financial packages with appropriate costings.
  • Support on projects as directed by the Director of Finance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Experience in financial management.
  • Strong technical/analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to forge close working relationships across a broad spectrum of individuals.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven record of meeting deadlines, prioritizing multiple tasks.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
