Tax Compliance Expert

This job involves supporting the maintenance of top-notch indirect tax compliance and facilitating valuable partnerships between Ørsted and its stakeholders. A key objective is to maximize tax benefits while coordinating a US tax strategy.

Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement S&U tax and property tax compliance strategies.
- Maintain and enhance tax software capabilities, ensuring alignment with general ledger/ERP systems.
- Lead the preparation of tax exemption certificates for both internal and external entities.
- Analyze and advise on tax implications related to new and potential assets or projects.
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide actionable insights for tax management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, tax, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with SAP, HFM, and Microsoft Office applications is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and commercial acumen.
- Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
