Special Needs Education Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team at The Hill College and Academy Trust. As a Special Needs Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education programs to students with special needs.
About the Role:
- Deliver teaching/learning within designated curriculum areas, ensuring that equipment/materials required for teaching/learning are safe and appropriate.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, upholding the ethos of The Hill College and Academy Trust as an educational provision.
- Effective management and supervision of team members, including volunteers, students, and visitors.
Requirements:
- A Certificate of Education (CertEd) on appointment or an alternative equivalent teaching qualification.
- Level 2 Maths and English qualifications or willingness to enrol on our internal functional skills course within the first year of employment.
- Recent Outstanding/Good teaching experience with students with special needs, effective planning of educational programmes for adults with special needs, and ability to manage and direct teaching teams.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is £35,425 - £46,143 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance.
