Main Duties:
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of looked-after children and young people in a stable residential setting.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, ensuring the quality of care meets regulatory standards.
  • Lead by example with outstanding safeguarding practices and actively promote the well-being of residents.
  • Develop close relationships with local authorities, schools, health services, and other professionals to ensure best outcomes for residents.
  • Evaluate and improve the implementation of home policies and procedures, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Implement tailored care plans addressing each resident's unique needs, covering education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health aspects.
  • Maintain accurate records of observations and participate in regular childcare planning meetings to monitor ongoing needs.
  • Foster open communication and partnership with parents, families, carers, and professionals to advocate for the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
  • Adhere to data protection laws and company policies, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package of up to £27,087 annually, reflecting the role's value to the organization.
