Academic Support Professional - Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers across the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Support: Provide targeted support to students in various subjects, assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Small Group Instruction: Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning and provide additional tutoring.
  • Classroom Management: Cover lessons when required, following lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor students' progress and communicate feedback to teachers, supporting individual learning goals.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date. The ideal candidate will have HLTA certification and experience in a secondary school setting. Strong organisational skills, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting student success are essential.
