Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are seeking a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students and teachers across the curriculum at a thriving secondary school in Glossop.

Job Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, offering additional help to students who need it.
  • Small Group Instruction: Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning and provide additional tutoring.
  • Classroom Management: Step in to cover lessons when required, following lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor students' progress and communicate feedback to teachers, supporting individual learning goals.
Requirements

The successful candidate will hold HLTA certification and have experience working in a secondary school setting. A strong focus on student welfare and achievement is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including free child protection and prevent duty training.
