Job Overview

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and has experience in a school setting. As a Midday Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining order and discipline during lunchtime, while also providing support to students with any concerns or issues. You will be responsible for supervising students in the dining areas, playgrounds, and other communal spaces, encouraging positive behaviour, and addressing minor incidents when necessary. Your duties will also include ensuring the school's health and safety policies are followed at all times.

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience working within schools or the education sector, be confident in managing groups of young people effectively and respectfully, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
