Children's Home Manager Position at CV-Library

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead our children’s home team. As a Children’s Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the home, providing high-quality care and services to young people.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Home, with relevant qualifications and training. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.

In this role, you will contribute to service planning, delivery, and review, participating in service inspections and establishment reviews. You will also maintain the home’s budget and ensure effective financial management, reporting accidents, incidents, and hazards, initiating risk assessments as needed.

Furthermore, you will foster open communication among staff through regular team briefs and meetings, support new staff induction and development, and collaborate with external agencies to provide necessary care and services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, guiding, and instructing staff to deliver high-quality care and services, ensuring all employees are aware of their duty to report concerns about child abuse or neglect.

The successful candidate will provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operational activities effectively.
