Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker for Children to join our team at Aspris. As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support to young people with autism, learning difficulties, social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The role is based in Lymington, a seaside town on the outskirts of the New Forest, where our 4-bedded Country Cottage provides a supportive and nurturing environment for our young people.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include providing day-to-day care and support to our young residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with other members of the team to create a stable and loving environment, promoting positive relationships and lasting memories.

You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, education, and leisure activities, as well as supporting our young people with their daily routines. Your patience, understanding, and creativity will make a significant difference in their lives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people and their families. You must be resilient, patient, and understanding, with a natural flair for making people smile. A willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential, as we offer fully funded qualifications to support your career growth.
