Job Description:

Academics Ltd is currently working with fantastic SEN schools across Stevenage, seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant to help young learners with wide-ranging educational and social needs.

The successful candidate will be based at an exceptional SEN school in Stevenage, offering students a wide array of extracurricular activities, therapies, and personalized care in built-for-purpose spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the academic and personal growth of children with special educational needs.
  • Providing care and support to children as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality care and education.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Local commute to Stevenage.
  • Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, level 2 or above.
