Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at East and North Herts NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will participate in the diagnosis and management of children with neurodevelopmental difficulties, long-term complex conditions, and neurodisability.

Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum

About the Role

  • Share multidisciplinary team assessments and meetings as required.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary assessment clinics for children with suspected autism, for pre-school and school-age children.
  • Participate in the diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental conditions including ASD and ADHD.
  • Provide a safeguarding children service in conjunction with other colleagues.
  • Provide medical input for SEN, special schools, and adoption and fostering as required.
  • Provide clinical supervision of Paediatric doctors in training.

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified professional with excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong understanding of child development and neurodevelopmental conditions is essential.
