Job Summary
A highly skilled Software Team Lead is required to manage a team of software developers working across the full software development life-cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading / managing a team, and the ability to foster a collaborative team culture.

About the Role

The successful Software Team Lead will be responsible for managing the support, maintenance and upgrade of in-house developed software toolsets. This includes developing a strategy for software toolset capability and being the point of contact for software toolsets with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience of software programming languages and databases (e.g. C++, Java, Oracle, SQL, etc.).
  • A degree in an Engineering or STEM subject (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading / managing a team.
