The role of a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead is to oversee the development and implementation of innovative engineering processes, technologies, and cultures within a rapidly growing defence and Aerospace company.

This involves co-designing and delivering product development solutions alongside software vendor partners, internal engineering functions, project stakeholders, and other product owners. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead business change initiatives, communicate with diverse stakeholders, build coalitions, and create urgency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in an engineering discipline, experience leading small teams, and knowledge of different stages of the product lifecycle from concept design through to integration and test. Furthermore, they should possess skills in process development, toolset utilization, and familiarity with software such as Flowmaster (Siemens) and Team Centre Unified.
