Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on multi-billion-pound programmes of work for the Ministry of Defence.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing software solutions using Visual Systems such as Unity and Unreal Engine. You will also develop software solutions in C# and C++ and adhere to project processes and software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and test software solutions.
  2. Software Development: Develop software solutions in C# and C++.
  3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Test completed functionality to ensure high-quality results.
  4. Project Management: Adhere to project processes and software development practices.
  5. Team Collaboration: Report on progress and provide feedback to team members.
  6. Mentorship: Support and mentor Junior Engineers through peer reviews.

Requirements

  • Visual Systems: Experience with Visual Systems such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# and C++.
  • Software Lifecycles: Understanding of full software lifecycles.
  • Regulated Environment: Experience working in a highly regulated environment, ideally Aircraft/Defence.
  • Object-Oriented Design: Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
