Engineering Team Lead

This is a unique opportunity to join our Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) team as a seasoned Technical Lead. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for managing a team of software developers and ensuring the smooth operation of in-house developed FTI software toolsets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of software developers
- Managing the support, maintenance, and upgrade of FTI software toolsets
- Coordinating future workload and priorities
You will be the point of contact for FTI software toolsets, interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to foster a collaborative team culture will be essential in driving success.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in an Engineering or STEM subject (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Proven experience of leading / managing a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills within complex systems
- Ability to think critically and drive continuous improvement
- Experience of using tools to process and manipulate large data sets
- Proficiency in software programming languages and databases
Salary: £54,793-£60,326 per annum
