Description:
Minstrell Engineering is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Preston, Lancashire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience working with PLCs, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and drives. A recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience in an automation/manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment to minimize downtime
  • Performance of routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaboration with the production team to identify and resolve issues

Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience in automation/manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and drives
