About the Job:

The Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities on-site, ensuring the project meets its design, quality, and timeline objectives. Key responsibilities include supervising site engineering activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and providing technical guidance to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise site engineering activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain smooth project workflows.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
  • Offer technical guidance to junior staff and address engineering challenges effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and implement solutions to keep works on track.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on major highways projects.
  • Strong understanding of highways construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
