Job Title: HR Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team, ensuring all processes follow company rules and legal requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and process job vacancy or contract forms, ensuring all information is correct and complete.
  • Create and post job advertisements in the right places, and coordinate resumes with the finance team.
  • Contact external recruitment agencies to get the best deal on their services and coordinate resumes for job openings.
  • Help with shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and sending job offers, while keeping the hiring manager informed.
  • Serve as the main contact for new hires, preparing offer letters, contracts, and other important documents.
  • Ensure all employee information is properly recorded and up-to-date, meeting legal and company requirements.

Requirements:

  • HR experience
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Experience scheduling interviews
  • Level 2 Maths & English
  • Able to pass a DBS check
  • No previous convictions
