IT Service Desk Analyst

Rexel USA Incorporated is looking for a dedicated IT Service Desk Analyst to join its team in Birmingham. As a key member of the IT department, this role will focus on delivering high-quality support and achieving commercial targets.
The Job Overview:This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing technical assistance to end-users and building relationships with internal resolver groups and third-party IT Suppliers.
The Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, focusing on M3 and Movex expertise.
- Achieve and maintain agreed Service Levels using relevant Voice and Call logging tools.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve required levels of support.
- Develop relationships between the Service Desk, internal resolver groups, and third-party IT Suppliers.
- Review procedures and practices to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Carry out project work as designated by the Rexel Service Desk Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience in an operational or Service Desk role is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- M3/Movex experience or comparable experience in an IT Service Desk environment is required.
- General education ('O'/GCSE or equivalent) in English and Mathematics is required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is required.
- Competency in M3/Movex, Cognos, Office 365, and User Admin tools is an advantage.
Salary Information:
- Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
