This is an exciting opportunity to join Mind BLMK as part of the Fundraising & Engagement Team. As a Fundraising and Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and implementing our Fundraising and Communications Strategy.
Responsibilities- Stewardship and donor care for individual givers, corporates, groups, volunteers, and other supporters, ensuring they receive appropriate information and materials to support their fundraising efforts.
- Sending regular updates and engaging with donors to maintain strong relationships and encourage further support.
- Ensuring supporter interaction points (telephone, post, email) adhere to the highest standard, providing exceptional customer service.
- Developing new partnerships with corporates, organisations, and individuals to support income growth, aligned with our fundraising strategy.
- Supporting and engaging with fundraisers, donors throughout the customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Collaborating with the wider team at Mind BLMK and our national partners at Mind to achieve shared goals.
- Communicating key messages to supporters and promoting their fundraising efforts across social media channels.
- Implementing marketing strategies and targeted campaigns, creating multi-media communications, PR, and marketing materials.
- Capturing, monitoring, and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing, PR, and publicity activities, making recommendations for improvement.
- E nsuring the quality assurance for the implementation of Mind branding guidelines and specifications across the organisation.
- Publishing and distributing press materials, news stories, and updates, both internally and externally.
- Maintaining Mind BLMK's websites, social media accounts, Mailchimp newsletters, and web administration profiles and content.
- A minimum of [X] years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the charity sector.
- Excellent stewardship and donor care skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and supporters.
- Meticulous organisation and innovative thinking, with the ability to implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and supporters.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays, auto-enrolment NEST pension scheme, and Westfield Health Plan.
