The Role:As a Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of projects from small-scale installations to large-scale site developments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and managing budgets.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with all regulations and managing budgets.
- Write and present capital expenditure reports to senior management.
- Conduct PUWER assessments and manage tendering processes to ensure the best value for the company.
- Oversee projects including Civil works, Internal renovations, new machinery installations, and ensure guidelines and regulations are adhered to.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and contractor control, including risk assessments to ensure the safety of the team and the public.
- Manage multiple projects and work independently from the engineering manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure the project's success.
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment, preferably with a background in engineering.
- A strong understanding of the food industry and its regulations.
- Project management experience, preferably with Prince 2, CI, or Lean Six Sigma qualifications.
- Self-driven individual with confident communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary £60,000.
