Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to children and young people.
- Coordinate and manage patient care, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in leading and managing teams in a paediatric setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and delegate responsibilities.
- Knowledge of paediatric nursing practices and procedures, including child protection and safeguarding.
