Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Team Leader to join our Children's Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients and their families, while also leading and managing a team of nurses to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nursing, with experience in leading and managing teams, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. They will also be able to provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients and their families
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
