Nurse Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Team Leader to join our Children's Emergency Department team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to our young patients and their families.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nursing, with experience in leading and managing teams. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, and staff and service development within the unit setting.

Main Duties of the JobYou will be responsible for prioritizing and providing a high standard of safe, individualized, holistic, family-centered care that is evidence-based. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of privacy and dignity at all times.
You will also be responsible for promoting an environment that reflects the psychosocial and developmental needs of children and young people, including play, recreational facilities, and educational provision. You will ensure specific provision for those with special needs.
Additionally, you will undertake the role of a Link Nurse for a given field within the department, when requested to do so, by the Ward or Matron.
