East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an experienced operational leader to fill the role of EOC Clinical Commander. This position will be responsible for providing tactical command and coordination of the EOC Clinical Hub, ensuring compliance with national and local key performance indicators.
Main Responsibilities
The EOC Clinical Commander will provide visible leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making in a dynamic environment. This role will work closely with the EOC Duty Commander to oversee the daily tactical plan and ensure effective management of the EOC Clinical Hub.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to join our team and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care. As an EOC Clinical Commander, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Requirements
- HCPC Registered Paramedic and/or Registered Nurse
- 3 years post-registration clinical experience and experience as a Band 6
- NARU Operational and/or Tactical Commander Trained (or willingness to work towards)
- 2 years' experience of effectively managing and leading teams in relation to managing performance
