About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Performance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of our apprenticeship programs. Your primary focus will be on performance management, team leadership, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Apprenticeship Tutors, setting performance targets and objectives to ensure timely success rates, non-starters, referrals, and progressions.
  • Directly responsible for the recruitment, management, and support of a team of Apprenticeship Tutors, ensuring they meet contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, ensuring consistency of processes and practices to meet funding, regulatory, and inspectorate requirements.
  • Conduct regular observations of teaching and learning in the field, monitoring the delivery of functional skills and providing coaching and support to Apprenticeship Tutors.
  • Responsible for program performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely completion of all elements of the apprenticeship program.
  • Support business growth by working closely with the sales department to maximize new business sales and learner recruitment.
  • Collaborate with other Performance Managers, Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Administration Teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the learner experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of driving quality learning, including working to and achieving learner start and completion targets.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of apprenticeships and funding streams.
  • Proven experience of working within a similar Operations/Performance Manager role, with recent experience of managing a team of Assessors delivering on the New Standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work with e-portfolios and various software platforms.
  • Confident and professional, with the ability to work with people at all levels and develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Ofsted requirements and solid occupational experience within an educational/training environment.
