About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Performance Manager to lead our Early Years and Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programmes. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all programme elements, including functional skills and additional learning support. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance management of the team, ensuring contractual targets and objectives are met.
  • Direct responsibility for the recruitment, management, and support of Apprenticeship Tutors.
  • Leading a team of Apprenticeship Tutors, setting monthly KPIs to ensure timely completion of all programme elements.
  • Responsible for staff training to ensure consistency of processes and practices.
  • Undertaking monthly one-to-ones to appraise and coach ATs and feed into their personal development plans.
  • Supporting the development of ATs, ensuring they follow funding guidelines and up-to-date inspectorate requirements.
  • Addressing underperformance and implementing corrective methods.
  • Supporting business growth by working with the sales department to maximise new business sales and learner recruitment.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the learner experience.
About You
  • Proven experience of driving quality learning, including working to and achieving learner start and completion targets.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Apprenticeships and funding streams.
  • Proven experience of working within a similar Operations/Performance Manager role, with recent experience of managing a team of Assessors delivering on the New Standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work with e-portfolios and software platforms.
  • Confident and professional, with the ability to work with people at all levels and develop strong professional relationships.
  • Good understanding of Ofsted requirements.
  • Solid occupational experience within an educational/training environment in either early years or teaching.
