Staff Nurse A&E Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for patients, including discharge planning and risk management.
- Participate in preceptorship programmes and act as a mentor to less experienced staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical skills and professional awareness, adhering to NMC requirements and Trust policies.
- Assist in the training and development of student nurses and healthcare assistants, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Participate in research and development programmes, contributing to the improvement of patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures, and ensuring the effective use of resources.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Ability to record and deal with facts, figures, and information accurately.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to problem-solve and be flexible in response to changing demands.
- Ability to mentor and provide support to unregistered and student nurses.
- Knowledge of patient safety initiatives, strategies, and risk management.
- Understanding of the principles of clinical effectiveness and best practice.
