About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our hardware and software assets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Asset Tracking and Auditing: You will be responsible for tracking and auditing our hardware and software assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  2. Asset Lifecycle Management: You will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal, ensuring that assets are properly maintained and disposed of in accordance with relevant regulations.
  3. Software License Management: You will monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimize license usage to minimize costs.
  4. Regular Audits and Compliance: You will conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  5. Analysis and Optimization: You will analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
  6. Process Improvement: You will review existing Asset Management processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and help implement effective asset management practices.
  7. Culture and Practices: You will help drive better practices and culture across the organization by embedding ITAM into all existing processes, including new starters, leavers, procurement, and projects.
