About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our hardware and software assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Tracking and Management: You will be responsible for tracking and managing all IT assets owned by the organisation, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: You will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal.
  • Software License Management: You will monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimise license usage to minimise costs.
  • Regular Audits and Compliance: You will conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis and Optimisation: You will analyse asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimise resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: You will have previous experience in an IT Asset management co-ordinator, specialist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge: You will have knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle management from request to disposal and software management practices to ensure optimal use and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Skills: You will have experience of using hardware and software asset management tools or systems and Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
