About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Engineering Manager to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Estates department, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering team and ensuring that all building services and equipment are compliant with statutory legislation and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they achieve their goals and objectives.

  • To develop and implement best practices to improve service delivery, efficiency, and quality.
  • To work collaboratively with other departments and teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to engineering services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in engineering management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
