Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Support Specialist for Special Needs to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Special Needs Assistant, you will provide critical support to primary and secondary-aged children with diverse learning needs.

Key Duties:
  • Support children with SEN during lessons and group activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to manage challenging behavior.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Assist with physical care tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN challenges, including autism and ADHD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient and empathetic approach to meeting student needs.
