Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Shared Services team at our Spalding site.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive and accurate administrative support services covering the employee lifecycle process in a timely manner and in accordance with employment legislation and Company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the Payroll in-box and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in processing the monthly and weekly payrolls, including the calculation and accurate input of weekly and monthly timesheets.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and recording of absence and attendance records, contractual and statutory payments, and statutory and third-party deductions.
  • Administer the weekly and monthly pension communication and prepare payslips for distribution.
  • Generate and distribute payroll-related reports using payroll systems, Excel, and Pivot Tables.
  • Communicate overpayments of pay and work collaboratively with the HRSS team to provide a professional, effective, and efficient service to colleagues.
  • Notify the Payroll Shared Services Manager of any anomalies outside of company policy and procedure.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working within a time-critical, high-volume multiple Payroll environment.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including experience of using Pivot Tables to create detailed reports.
  • Experience in the use of other Microsoft office suite of products, such as Word and Outlook.
  • Flexibility, thoroughness, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and activities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the requirement for confidentiality.
