Electronics Customer Support and Production Role

EM Motorsport is a leading electronic design and manufacture company that supplies equipment and systems to high-end motorsport series and race circuits. This appointment is a split role within the company, combining Electronics Customer Support and Electronics Production responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide after-sales support to customers on-site and remotely, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist in pre- and post-visit equipment maintenance and software configuration, ensuring optimal product performance.
  • Record unit allocation and assist customers in organizing spare unit allocation, maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare reports for sharing with colleagues, highlighting issues and achievements.
  • Track faults and provide feedback for in-house development tests, driving continuous improvement.

Production Responsibilities:

  • Support the Production team in building and assembling products, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Assist in testing products before despatch, guaranteeing reliability and performance.
  • Support the Production team in servicing equipment annually, maintaining optimal product condition.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to read and write technical reports.
  • Knowledge of electronic technologies, including hardware and software.
  • Understanding of Ethernet networks and fibre optic converters.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and use tools associated with wiring.
  • Procedurally driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good computer literacy, with experience in MS Windows/Office packages and network resources.
